13 years of frustration

The blackhawks won their first playoff series in 13 years, that is a huge weight off my shoulders. And by weight I mean, I'm happy for a team that I have been following for 2 years tops.

When it comes to my home town teams I always want them to win, except for the white sox. So the resurgent hawks smoking the flames, pun, was an instant breath of fresh air.

Here's to hockey, the sport I know nothing about, but want nothing more then to see some mulleted, freshly grown bearded men from Chicago lift up an oversized silver fruit bowl.
